Who we are
Founded out of a passion for both woodworking and fishing, Kinni Forge began with a simple idea: to create landing nets that are as beautiful as they are functional. Having spent many years fishing on the Kinnickinnic River, I designed the frame of our nets specifically to work in that environment, particularly for trout. Each net is a testament to the time-honored tradition of steam bending wood, a craft that requires precision, patience, and a deep appreciation for nature's materials.
Our Craft
Our nets are made from high-quality wood, carefully selected for its strength and flexibility. The steam bending process allows us to shape the wood into smooth, graceful curves, creating nets that are not only durable but also a pleasure to use. We take pride in every step of the process, from the initial design to the final finish, ensuring that each net meets our exacting standards.
Community
At Kinni Forge we believe in giving back and forging new relationships the community that supports us. That’s why we donate 10 percent of our proceeds to local charities, including those that help veterans. We’re proud to contribute to causes that make a difference and help those in need.
